Wurumu Dam Day Two

We tried to stay here as long as possible at this lovely spot but our problem is that we eventually run out of electric so no fridge and no ice for the gin and tonics! It’s something we have to get sorted as we would like to stay longer at places like this. Solar panels are on our shopping list.

We took a long walk round the edge of the lake where there is some great bird life. Cattle grazing with their calves seem oblivious to us. As usual we see quite a few kangaroos and one particularly large one paid us a bit too much attention. He did make us laugh by disappearing and then suddenly reappearing by just peeking from behind a tree just a little way in front of us.

Great swimming in the dam.
