Another of the outback towns that we like so much, this one was known for its tin mining days. We drove along miles of dirt track with stunning scenery to get to this place and what a treat. The town run campsite was only being kept going because of the lady in the newsagents. It was right next door to a swimming pool and there was a great pub with the usual Friday night raffle. We daren't buy a ticket in case we won a bale of hay. The tiny museum run by volunteers was an absolute must. Entry was by donation.
