It is time to slowly make our way back to Inverell so we head back up the Eyre Peninsula, stop at Port Lincoln to sort out an internet problem and then stop the night at an excellent bush campsite just outside Whyalla called Point Lowly. It is 22kms down a small road and the camping is on a gravel carpark with toilets and cold showers provided. There is a lighthouse right on the point and in the evening we were fortunate enough to see a pod of dolphins having their evening meal in the very small bay.
The next day after an early morning walk up to the lighthouse we set off north, stopped another night on the peninsula and then it was on up to Broken Hill, a place that we have visited several times before. This time we stopped on the outskirts of town on the racecourse with the luxury of camping on well kept grass. A bit af a rarity in Australia.
